How World Weather handles personal data and server logs.
Data controller
The controller of any personal data processed through this site is Rubicone, the publisher of World Weather, based in the European Union. For data-protection matters, contact us via the contact page.
What we collect
We do not require an account and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information. The only data processed automatically is server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp), used by the hosting provider for security and diagnostics, retained for up to 30 days; and the content of any email you send us.
Cookies
We do not use cookies. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not show a consent banner.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for maintaining and securing the service; contract/pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you contact us; legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where required by law.
Processors
Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting and CDN (Cloudflare Pages) and processes the server logs described above. Weather and air-quality data providers are the sources of the data shown; we do not share user data with them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us via the contact page.
Children's data
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
